Shepherd have introduced new optional rear anti-roll bars for the for the Velox V10 200mm nitro on-road car. The 1.6mm and 1.8mm rear anti-roll bars in combination with a new 2.0mm bushing allow additional setup possibilities to fine-tune the rear end of the car. Made of high-quality spring steel the softer anti-roll bars offer improved rear end stability to unlock the full steering potential of the Velox V10 without ending up with a difficult-to-drive car.

Mugen MGT7 & MGT7E 1/8th GT on-road kits

Mugen introduce the new MGT7 nitro and MGT7E electric 1/8th GT car kit. Both are based off of the World Championship winning MBX7 platform and with the addition of purpose-designed parts they are ready for the growing GT racing scene. The cars feature low-profile front and rear shock towers, 16mm diameter shocks and a 2-diff shaft-driven drivetrain with sturdy gear differentials and CVA drive shafts throughout. Specially designed front and rear body mounts offer a wide range of adjustments to allow the use of many aftermarket bodyshells while the large front plastic bumper with foam protector will help keep the front of the body front tucking during hard impact. Tough side guards keep harm away from the electronics and power train in the event of a crash.

Tamiyablog got their hands on first images of Tamiya’s forthcoming TRF211XM 2WD buggy and TRF102 formula kits. Starting with the buggy, the front and rear section looks pretty close to the successful TRF201XMW, the car that took the vice-championship at the 2013 IFMAR World Championships, but the main feature is the new tub chassis that will be made of a new composite material that, from what is understood, will offer different flex characteristics compared to a standard composite part in that it is more rigid without sacrificing the car’s grip characteristics. More information will become available during this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show.

Wild Turbo Fan 2015 3D Mad Max fan mount

Wild Turbo Fan have introduced the 2015 version of the Mad Max fan mount. Building on the sleek design of the previous version the ’15 fan mount offers a tension adjustment feature that allows to adjust the mount to the motor can as these can slightly vary in diameter from brand to brand. A screw incorporated into the main mount presses against a steel ball to slightly close the clamp for a tighter fit on smaller diameter cans to make sure the whole assembly safely stays in place even in rough racing conditions.

Arrowmax chassis balancing tool

New from Arrowmax comes a chassis balancing tool. Made from aluminium and coming gun metal anodised and laser etched the tool is made to work with all on-road chassis that offer balancing tool pin holes at the front and rear of the chassis which is a standard at most of today’s touring cars, pan cars and formula kits. Placing the chassis on the 2-piece tool helps to fine-tune the left-right balance of the car using optional weights or on-board weight distribution tools.

Samix BD7-2015 carbon fibre chassis kit

Samix have a new carbon fibre main chassis for the Yokomo BD7-2015 available. Made from soft matte finish carbon fibre material the chassis is only 82mm wide for improved ground clearance during heavy cornering. The soft weave makes for more torsional flex which can help increase overall grip and traction in certain track conditions. Also included is an aluminium fan mount for 30mm units that also incorporates a routing channel for the connection wire.

Spec-R T4-15 floating steering conversion kit

Coming from Spec-R and made for the Xray T4-15 touring car is a floating steering conversion kit. Making use of a redesigned upper servo mount plate and new orange anodised aluminium steering posts the set removes the kit’s steering assembly from the main chassis in favour of a “floating” design. The result is a more freely flexing chassis and less influence of the chassis’ flex on the steering angle during cornering. The conversion bolts right onto the standard inner servo mount and it is available now.
