Xray have released a first teaser image for their all-new NT1 200mm nitro on-road kit. Later this week, in the build up to the car’s release, we will have an in-depth interview with Xray’s on-road designer Martin Hudy and an exclusive ‘making of story’ on the latest release in the World Championship winning NT1 platform.

New from Serpent comes an adjustable front wing for the F110 SF2 formula kit. The multi-level wing offers improved downforce and steering thanks to its design that also allows to adjust the rear upper segments in three steps to fine-tune the aerodynamic performance. The wing is available in black and white colour and it also fits Tamiya and Xray cars as well as chassis that use the same mounting pattern.

Schumacher have new optional parts for the SupaStox GT available in the form of the low pivot conversion and the pro thrust race. Starting with the low pivot conversion, the set lowers the rear pivot ball height giving the car more overall traction, making it easier to drive. It also reduces the chances of the rear traction running out during a run as it works the rear tyres less. The set also allows the car to be run on a softer front tyre giving the car more overall traction and most importantly faster lap times.

Novarossi have an updated INS-Box for 1/10th nitro on-road cars available. At 50x34mm the box offers a more compact design for improved aerodynamics while a new shape reduces the intake noise as much as possible without affecting performance. The box is available in black and it fits most .12 nitro engines.

Italian company BMT are currently working on a 1/10th scale nitro on-road car to add to their successful 984 1/8th racer. The car will feature aluminium bulkheads and a laydown servo design but no other details are known yet. It is understood that the kit is set for a release in September and more images will become available soon.

Mugen have announced that they will release an all new nitro & electric on road GT racing car called the MGT7. While designed to compete at the highest level of GT racing, competing at next week’s Winter National (Fort Myers) as well as the On Road fuel National in Kissimmee FL later in the year, the platform is suitable for all levels and a wide range of usage scenarios from on the track to bashing outside your house. Avid introduce their 7075-T6 aluminium chassis for the Xray T4’15 touring car. Designed for the use in medium to high-bite conditions the main chassis, cut from 2mm high-quality aluminium, offers several unique features. Compared to Xray’s own alloy chassis the Avid part has several cutouts added and existing diff cutouts enlarged to reduce weight and increase flex while keeping enough material on the sides for the speedo to hold with servo tape. The battery tape on the bottom of the chassis has a cutout slot so it does not interfere with ride height checks or drag on track. The motor pocket width is decreased and is double pocketed to keep as much strength possible. The motor mount flex control hole as been modified with a large bevel on top of chassis to prevent the screw head from hitting chassis while the pinion adjustment hole moved to better access the set screw. The 2mm thickness material also allows for a lower centre of gravity and offers the ability to lower roll centres more than stock. The chassis shape is smoothed to keep droop screw platforms from digging into the track during hard cornering with the chassis being narrowed to 84mm allowing the chassis to roll deeper through a corner.

Back in January Japanese company Creation Model announced their Infinity branded 1/8th nitro on-road car and now first images of the project are available. Developed by former Japanese National Champion and World Championship podium finisher Masao Tanaka the yet unnamed car is currently in its final stage of development and it undergoes track testing on various international tracks. The kit is set for a release this Summer with more images being available soon.
