Made for Muchmore’s Tire Sander Pro is this wheel hub adapter for 1/10th formula wheels. Constructed from aluminium and coming with a quick release mount the adapter holds both the ball raced front and the hex hub rear wheels without additional adapters. Using the tyre sander helps to remove excessive moulding on the tyre’s surface or to pre-scrub the running surface if track conditions call for it.

Team Orion have a new USB Link software for the use with their Vortex R-series speed controllers available for download. The new release allows to program, update and increase the functionality of the speed controller and it features an improved user interface along with the ability to import, export and print the ESC settings. As always each new release contains all the previously released ESC firmware updates. Also included is a new Stock motor firmware for the R10Pro and R10.1Pro as well as an update for the older DSB-R program box to work with the R8X speedo. Last but not least does the update include speedo setup sheets of factory Team Orion drivers such as Ty Tessman, Dakota Phend, Ryan Cavalieri, Ryan Mayfield, Frank Root and European Champion Jörn Neumann. Avid’s popular wing mount buttons are now also available in a red colour version. Offering a low profile design the CNC-machined aluminium parts sport a large diameter to keep 1/10th buggy wings as well as highly stressed touring car wings in place even at high speeds which results in improved aerodynamic efficiency. The red anodised buttons come laser-etched and work on all cars with M3 wing mount screws.

Italian company Hot Race, official tyre supplier for the recent IFMAR Touring Car World Championships, introduce their new line of carpet specific rubber tyres. They use a specially formulated rubber and different inserts compared to the asphalt tyres in order to maximise performance. The range will become available by the end of October, beginning of November.

Schumacher introduce the latest incarnation of their championship winning SupaStox 1/12th scale GT12 kit, the SupaStox GT. Coming in two versions, with a S1 fibreglass chassis and rear differential or based on a carbon fibre chassis with fixed axle, the car is meant to be lighter, stronger and faster than ever. Included in all versions is a new low centre of gravity alloy motor mount and a pivot ball rear end with front to back tube damper for improved bump handling while new front and rear ride height adjustment options allow for improved fine-tuning. The car accepts a wide range of industry-standard bodyshells and electronics and it comes with pre-glued contact foam tyres front and rear.

Highest RC introduce a servo specially designed for the use in formula chassis kits. The low-profile servo features an aluminium case with plastic lower bottom part and it comes without the standard mounting lashes as these are normally cut away in many formula chassis to allow for an upright mounting position. The high-voltage compatible servo is usable from 4.8V input on and offers up to 0.06s of transit time with a torque as high as 8.3kg-cm. A coreless motor makes for efficient operation and the servo is compatible with Sanwa’s SSR mode.

WRC now offer a lightweight bodyshell for the F-One formula kit. Made from clear high quality material the body offers the same design as the current F-One shell but it is 20 percent lighter to save some valuable weight.

Italian company Capricorn introduce the new V3 shock absorbers for their EP and GP kits. The shocks feature a redesigned lower cartridge that allows to use dual O-rings for better sealing or a single O-ring for a smoother operation with less friction. A new piston rod design holds the pistons in place using a screw for easier setup changes and a fixed piston that does not rotate within the shock housing. The 1/10th shocks are available as 52mm, 55mm and 57.5mm long variant while the 1/8th related shocks come in 57.5mm an 60.5mm length. Also new are 50 shore and 60 shore volume compensator membranes for further fine-tuning.
