AKA 17mm wheel nut wrench

Seen for the first time during the recent IFMAR 1/8th Buggy World Championships in Sicily and available now is AKA’s 17mm wheel wrench. The tool is made from machined and anodised aluminium for a durable and aesthetically pleasing look. The wrench has been optimised to fit all open and enclosed face wheel nuts and the over-sized handle features laser etched AKA logos and fits nicely into the palm of your hand, offering plenty of leverage to get those over-tightened nuts off in a breeze.

Spec-R R1 2.25mm main chassis & 2.0mm upper deck

Spec-R have two new carbon fibre option parts for the R1 touring car available. First up is a 2.25mm main chassis that offers a less waisted shape than the Pro Spec item for improved flex characteristics. Also new is a 2.0mm upper deck for the R1. The part helps to adjust chassis flex to you liking by mixing and matching it with the different chassis types.

H-Speed Helex paints & CA activator spray

New from Hupo Hönigl’s H-Speed brand come the Helex polycarbonate paints and a cyanoacrylate accelerator spray. Starting with the paint, it is available in 15 different colours, ready to use, fast drying, and fuel resistant. Its special formula makes it ideal for all polycarbonate and lexan bodyshells. Also new is an activator spray for cyanoacrylate glues such as the one used to glue rubber tyres. Using the spray further speeds up the bonding time for even quicker tyre gluing jobs.

Active Hobby Products 84 pitch touring car gears  Following the Xenon's announcement to test and possibly produce ultra-fine 84 pitch main and pinion gears for 1/12th scale pan cars Active Hobby Products from Japan has gone a step further and now announce the soon release of 84 pitch gears for electric touring cars. The main gears will become available as 128T to 146T variant in 2 tooth increments while the corresponding pinions will become available as 44T to 51T variant. It is understood that using the gears, that become available in October, will make for an even more efficient power supply compared to 64 pitch gears with the main gears being made from a special delrin material for wear and durability while the pinions will be made from 7075 aluminium.
