Capricorn Lab C03 hard chassis & new engine mount

Capricorn have two new option parts for the Lab C03 200mm nitro car available in the form of a hard main chassis plate and a monoblock engine mount. Starting with the chassis, the part is designed to be an option for the standard flex chassis that comes with the car kit. The hard chassis is meant to give less flex which allows to fine-tune the car to different track conditions. Also new is the monoblock engine mount that stiffens the rear part of the chassis under the engine mount area. The single piece part is of a heatsink design to assist with heat dissipation from the engine’s crankcase.

Spec-R T4’15 motor mount conversion kit

Spec-R T4'15 motor mount conversion kit

New from Spec-R comes a motor mount conversion kit for Xray’s T4’15 touring car. Included is a redesigned motor and layshaft mount made from orange anodised 7075 aluminium that utilises a single mounting bracket for the layshaft for improved flex characteristics. The rear part of the motor mount offers two different ARS toe link positions, doing away with the standard towers, and included are also hard-coated 7075 aluminium centre belt pulleys, a spur gear and a front topdeck mount.

Blaze Racing Yokomo R12 rear pod conversion

Blaze Racing introduce a rear pod conversion kit for the Yokomo R12 1/12th scale pan car that allows to run CRC’s slider rear end to combine the best of both worlds. The set includes three new carbon fibre parts cut from 2.5mm material; the lower plate, the upper plate and the rear brace. The conversion allows to run oil side dampers while retaining the standard Yokomo geometry and it comes without the needed CRC alloy parts.

Tamiya TT-02R electric touring car kit

Tamiya introduce the TT-02R electric touring car kit featuring some valuable optional parts such as a aluminium main shaft parts, aluminium steering turnbuckles, lock nuts and ball joints as well as new grey colour CVA shock absorbers and black springs. Also included will be 3 degree toe-in rear uprights, a blue aluminium motor mount, a ball bearing set and more.

Yeah Racing M05/06 drivetrain & steering upgrade kit

New from Yeah Racing comes the drivetrain and steering upgrade kit for the Tamiya M05 and M06 cars. The kit includes a steering set, long steering turnbuckle, universal steel swing shafts, rear axles, solid axle, body post stiffener bar, front gear box, wheel adapters and serrated lock nuts to unleash the full potential of Tamiya’s M-Chassis. The set not only increases the overall precision of the steering and drivetrain but also the strength of some integral parts of the chassis. The aluminium parts come CNC-machined from high quality material and they are ice blue anodised for improved looks.

Tamiya Honda City Turbo WR-02C

Tamiya introduce the “re-release” of the iconic Honda City Turbo kit on a WR-02C wheeler chassis. Sporting a 1980’s re-release bodyshell with period correct tyres and wheels the car is based on the simple yet sturdy WR-02 C 2WD mid motor chassis to allow the use of more modern motors and electronics as back in the days. Tamiya have yet to announce a release date but we keep you up to date as soon as more information become available.

Exotek TRF, TB & DETC410 alloy rear wheel axles

New from Exotek come 7075 aluminium rear wheel axles that are usable on the Tamiya TRF419, 418, 417, TB04 and Evo6 as well as the Team Durango DETC410. The parts are designed for expert touring car drivers who seek for an extra advantage in spec class racing as the alloy axle scrubs weight on the expense of some durability. The parts weigh in at only 1.55g per piece and they greatly reduce rotating mass and unsprung weight but due to their aluminium construction they are not recommended for modified racing or tracks with hard track barriers. They are compatible with new G clip or older screw type TRF CVD axles and come polished and hard anodised.

WRC TS01 touring car carpet tyres

WRC introduce their new TS series touring car rubber tyres. First up is the TS01, a tyre specially designed for carpet racing as it offers a very homogenous traction level and good durability. The tyres are available pre-glued on white disc rims, they are 100 percent made in Italy and come in special cans that allow for easy storage and transportation while keeping the rubber fresh at the same time.
