Updated RB on-road and off-road nitro fuel

Updated RB on-road and off-road nitro fuel

French company RB introduce their updated nitro fuel range that is now mixed using the latest generation lubricants and additives for improved performance and reduced friction within the engine. The new viscosity optimises fuel consumption and improves the reliability at high pressures and temperatures. RB also did away with the orange colourant the fuel was known for to avoid any efficiency decreasing residue. The updated fuel is available in several 16% and 25% pre-running, buggy and on-road variants with a 30% buggy fuel being available also.

First up is a front wing set that makes use of a composite wing mount and two different size polycarbonate wings. The mount directly fits onto the chassis while the wings are simply mounted using tape or screws. Also new is a low-profile plastic rear wing. The part is of a fixed design and, just like the front wing, fits not only the SP-1 but many other of today’s Formula 1 cars. Last but not least comes a pair of long steering pivot balls. They screw directly in the upper A-arms and are usable with the SP-1 and the LM-1 car.

Kawada M300 FX-III – First images

Kawada M300 FX-III – First images

Today first renderings of Kawada’s forthcoming M300 FX-III 1/12th chassis appeared on the interweb. The car builds on a long wheelbase carbon fibre chassis with transverse battery layout and it will feature a damper-equipped and SDS-named front end which basically features a standard layout but two damper tubes that connect the upper and lower A-arms in order to make for a smoother operating front suspension. The rear of the car sports a conventional link-type power pod mounting with dual roll dampers, an aluminium centre shock absorber and rear axle height adjustment via eccentric inserts. Battery mounting takes place using an O-ring making the use of fibre tape unnecessary. It is understood that the kit will hit the stores by end of March.

Update: In the meantime Kawada released a handful of images showing the real car. You can find them after the break.
